कवच
कवच का मतलब है कवच या बचाव यंत्र धार्मिक कवच है जो की धारक को, नकारात्मक आत्माओं और बुरे ग्रहों के प्रभावों से बचाता है और इस तरह यह सभी प्रकार के संभावित खतरों से रक्षा करता है। सामान्य तौर पर, कवच तांबे का बना होता है और प्रत्येक कवच के अंदर एक विशेष पत्र होता है जहां एक विशिष्ट मंत्र लिखा जाता है और रखा जाता है। कवच को अभिमंत्रित और पवित्र करने के लिए एक खास यज्ञ करके विद्वान पंडितों द्वारा तैयार किया जाता है और धारक सोने या चांदी की चेन या लाल तार के साथ कवच पहन सकता है। वैसे तो कवच हर समय पहना जा सकता है, लेकिन विशेष रूप से इसे घर से निकालने से पहले, 'ओम नमो नारायणय' मंत्र का जाप कर अवश्य धारण करना चाहिए|

Kavach
Kavach means armor or ( रक्षाकवच ) the religious kavach protects, the “Kavach-holder” from negative spirits or souls and bad planetary influences and thus, it protects one from dangers of all kinds. Normelly, a kavach is made of copper and inside each kavach is a special paper where a specific mantra is written and kept. The kavach is then fortified by pundits by doing a special yagya to bless and sanctify the kavach. One may wear the kavach on a gold or silver chain or red string.
